I finally find a page with an interview on Madhur Mittal. Information sure is hard to find on him save for the wikipedia page on him.

The interview goes on for five pages long so keep clicking next to get to the next part of the interview. And there are pictures of him! Lol. On the first page is a small clip of him acting out from the movie in which he and Jamal meet again after many years. No, it's not the part where jamal punches him to the floor. The part after that where Salim is talking about the construction buildings and how in the past that used to be the slums.

Let me say I was a little stunned when I got to page three and he says, "Initially, I auditioned for the character who rapes Latika..."
I'm like, what?? So Salim actually does do as it implies when he kicks Jamal out of the hotel room? I never thought he was going to do that when. I watched that part of the movie I was like, uh? maybe he likes Latika and wants Jamal out of the way or something? I didn't think it was much more... considering when Latika told Jamal to go she didn't seem afraid or scared. I think she was telling him to leave for his own safety but I don't know ... how old is the middle Jamal supposed to be in the film?
Aside from that, I'm glad I finally found an article about Madhur Mittal and his background. I just wonder why there aren't more interviews with him. :(
